February Issue Out Now!

  • Post category:News

The latest edition of the well received new online Historic Motorsports Digital Magazine is now up and running. It features 70 pages and there are features on some great events that took place in Florida in February. The Brian Redman Targa 66 at Homestead-Miami Speedway and the SVRA Speed Tour from Sebring.

Amazing Interview

There is also an amazing interview with Belgian legend, Teddy Pilette. His story alone is well worth the modest $48 a year subscription. His background and what he went through to be a Champion twice is almost unbelievable. From driving little Abarth racing sedans to being F5000 Champion in 10 years. Another features a new American company that is based in Ohio. But they have come up with a totally practical and great looking semi exotic car line. Original design, inspired by European Italian classics of the past, yet run by the very latest off the shelf, easily available parts.

Wonderful Photographs

Plenty of photographs, unlike our “competition.” But that is no surprise since the publisher, designer, editor and all round contributor is a photographer. His name is Robin Thompson.
He raced back in the UK so has plenty of on track experience which gives him an insiders view and understanding of what goes into motorsports. After moving to the United States in 1984, he began following racing and eventually was able to become involved by sheer determination. He spent 10 years shooting in the much missed American Le Mans Series. He shot for several teams, plus designing the 50th Anniversary logo and apparel for Sebring. Hero cards and team t-shirts were keeping him busy when not at the track. The last three seasons in the ALMS for him were the pinnacles of his career to that point. He was selected by Audi Sport-Team Joest to cover North American races and Audi of America for the Le Mans 24 hours.

New Magazine

After 10 years with Vintage Motorsport magazine, he took on the brave move, at 70 years old, to start his own, from scratch. It is a work of passion and dedication to the sport he has been involved with directly for 46 years. We hope that you will subscribe and enjoy.
